Cindy & Chuck, Christmas '02 , following their wedding two months earlier

After LHS
Attended KU for a couple of years, then married and left Kansas.  Lived in Arizona, New Jersey and Texas. We've been in Texas since 1986 and love it. Winters are great...not all that cold.

Employment
Worked at Up With People in Arizona; Continental Insurance in New Jersey; and Hirsig-Frazier, New York Life and Dallas Scottish Rite in Texas. Currently I'm working at Dallas Scottish Rite as the administrative assistant to the chairman and general secretary of the Masons in Dallas Valley. Am looking forward to retirement.

Hearth & Home
Am married to Charles "Chuck" Scholander. Chuck retired but works part-time as a bartender at the VFW in Plano. We have four children (no such word as "step" in our vocabulary): Tamme Jo, Lynn Marie, Joshua Peter and Brandon Earl (mine)—plus their significant others. Tamme, Lynn and Brandon are married but Brandon is the only one with children (Andreia, Keanu and Kaiya Rose). Joshua is still the eligible bachelor. We have two pets: Lucy (Chihuahua) and Brat Cat or "BC" (twice the size of the dog).

The Other Stuff
Both of us held offices in the American Legion, but have both "retired" for a while and are just sitting back and relaxing (is that what it's called?). We still spend a lot of time at the Legion doing dinners and volunteer work. I've also been involved in the American Legion Auxiliary and VFW Women's Auxiliary. Both of us love to swim and relax in the sun, so we spend a lot of time at the pool with our grandkids. The family unit is very important to us and we do what we can to be together. Loving God, living my life with a wonderful man, having four wonderful children and three beautiful grandchildren...my life couldn't be more blessed. But I'd still like to go to Switzerland!

My Memories of LHS
Fond memories are of the many good times with my friends at the football games. And then there was shorthand...ugh!!
