After LHS
Received a BS in Journalism from KU
in 1970, and an MA in Mass Communications from the University
of Denver in 1977.
Employment
My wife and I are partners in our own marketing and public
relations consulting firm, The InterPro Group. We will mark 16
years in business this fall.
Hearth & Home
Am married to Marta Sipeki. We will be celebrating our 13th
wedding anniversary in September. Since Marta and I are both
Hungarian, we share a lot of heritage and family culture, and
we have enjoyed visiting relatives in Hungary on numerous
occasions. We have two rescue Collies, Danube and Aspen. They
both look like Lassie.
The Other Stuff
In my spare time, which isn't much these days, I write short
stories and screenplays. Someday I'd still like to play
centerfield for the New York Yankees.
My Memories of LHS
I remember the great times at LHS with great friends! And, the
lasting influence of teachers like Richard Samson, Robert
Wright and Conrad Downing—all of whom instilled in me the love
of literature and writing. But I hated the day Richard Samson
died; being in Stan Roth's biology class when we heard that
JFK had been shot; and the first day of chemistry class when I
thought a "mole" was an animal, and wondering what the heck
that had to do with chemistry! |
