After LHS
Attended Emporia State Teachers College, and participated in
Field Studies Security Training in Florida and Ohio.
Employment
Currently I am the Department of Defense Security Assistant
Training and Informational Program Coordinator for the
International Officers at the U.S. Army Command and General
Staff College at Fort Leavenworth. Over the years, I've
received Commander's Awards for Exceptionally Meritorious
Civilian Service and the Achievement Medal for Civilian
Service. When I retire from the Army Command and General Staff
College, I would like to work for the KU Athletic Department
again. I worked there in the 70s and loved it.
Hearth & Home
My son, Todd Nash, graduated from Lawrence High and is working
for Warner Brothers as an executive accountant. My grandson,
Parker Nash, is 9 years old.
The Other Stuff
My favorite things to do are playing golf and traveling.
My Memories of LHS
My fondest memories are of my friends. Not making
the Black Team basketball team for the Sports Show is my least
favorite memory. I am sorry that I will not be able to attend
the 40th reunion, but my new job requires me to go to
Washington, D.C., during that time. I will be thinking of all
of you. Have the last dance for me! |
