Mary with first husband, Mel,
and their children Rod, Brenda and Kathy
After LHS
I graduated early from LHS, in 1965; got married; and worked as an office supervisor in Topeka for 25 years. Am
now retired and work part time in a deli.
Hearth & Home
Melvin Parnell, my first husband, and I divorced in 1997; we
have three grown children. I married my second husband, Dusty, in May
1998; he died in October 2006.
The Other Stuff
My hobbies are photography, traveling and woodworking. I also
am active in the Elks organization. My husband was a state
officer in the Colorado Elks Association, of which I am a
member. I work with the youth programs.
The Elks now
give out a trophy for the national "Hoop-Shoot" program, which
is called the Dusty Wadley Memorial High Point Trophy.
Still hoping to do:
Travel and take photos.
My Memories of LHS
Fondly I remember my friends and the fun we had at LHS. Also,
the good teachers; slumber parties at Kathy Hird's house;
football games; and the dances. |
