Graveside services for Karen Sue Wilson, 55, Lawrence, will be
at 2 p.m. in Oak Hill Cemetery. Ms. Wilson died Friday, May
14, 2004.
She was
born July 11, 1948, in Houston, the daughter of George and
Nora Wilson. She had been a longtime resident of Leavenworth.
Ms.
Wilson helped behaviorally and emotionally challenged children
as a school psychiatrist for the Leavenworth Special Education
Co-op for more than 20 years. She also bred and showed Boston
terrier dogs for eight years and was president of the
Heartland Boston Terrier Club at the time of her death.
Survivors include her mother; a sister, Shirley Herbaugh; and
her partner, Donna Steward. |
